What It Does

Tasklync is a decentralized freelance marketplace. Clients post jobs with USDC held in escrow. Workers stake tokens to apply — proving commitment and filtering out spam. When work is delivered and approved, funds release instantly. When there's a dispute, the community resolves it through transparent voting.

No intermediary takes a 20% cut. No payment processor holds your funds for 5 business days. No account manager decides who gets hired. The rules are encoded in the contract — transparent, automated, and enforceable.

The Numbers

3% platform fee (vs 20% on Upwork). $0.001 gas per transaction on Polygon. Instant USDC settlement (vs 3-5 days ACH). 186 automated tests, 0 failures across 7 test suites. Contract verified on Polygonscan — fully auditable.

How It Works

Post a job. Client creates a task with a description, deadline, and USDC budget. Funds lock in the escrow contract — visible to everyone, untouchable by anyone.

Workers apply. Freelancers stake tokens to signal commitment. The highest-staked applicants rise to the top. No spam applications — every bid costs real value to make.

Work gets done. Client accepts a worker. The clock starts. Worker delivers. Client approves. Funds release instantly to the worker's wallet.

Disputes get resolved. If there's a disagreement, community members vote. The contract executes the outcome automatically. No support tickets. No "our team is reviewing your case."

Technical Architecture

Built in Solidity 0.8.25 with Foundry. Uses OpenZeppelin's battle-tested libraries for escrow, access control, and ERC-20 integration. Deployed to Polygon mainnet for sub-cent gas fees. Contract verified on Polygonscan with full source code available.

The escrow contract holds USDC in a non-custodial vault — neither client nor worker can withdraw without meeting the release conditions. Staking uses a time-weighted mechanism that rewards long-term reputation over short-term gaming.

Why This Matters for Clients

If you run a platform that connects buyers with sellers — freelancers, contractors, service providers — you're probably paying 15-30% to a centralized middleman. Tasklync proves you can run the same marketplace on-chain with 3% fees, instant settlement, and rules that enforce themselves.

We can build this for your industry. Same architecture, same test rigor, same deployment pipeline. Customized to your business rules.
